Data Manager (DEADLINE is March 29 @ 6pm CT)
In your role, you will be one of the lead executors of Rooted’s operations systems.
As our Data Manager, you will work in step with our COO and Director of School Operations to design and execute state-of-the-art, school-wide data and testing systems, ensure Rooted’s hospitality is experienced by all, and refine our systems for future growth.
Above all, you will help us determine how we will fulfill the Rooted Promise. This might not work. It might not be fun. I hope you’ll do it anyway.

areas of responsibility include (but aren’t limited to)
Enter and manage student data in SIS platform (currently PowerSchool), including enrollment, registration, withdrawals, master schedules, transcripts, test scores, immunizations, demographics, etc.
Manage, generate and distribute progress reports, report cards and other student information needs throughout the year.
Monitor the entry of attendance and grades by teachers into PowerSchool.
Facilitate transfer of student information between schools, including record requests.
Work effectively with local district and state agencies to deliver accurate reports as required for state reporting and various reporting needs.
Work with School Leader and Operations Manager to execute on compliant state testing logistics.
Execute on special projects, as assigned by School Leader or school administrators.
Act as hospitality and relationship manager with families, students, and other stakeholders.
Participate and manage student registration, orientation, attendance and truancy processes.
Coordinate and maintain student files, including enrollment, residency, health forms, and general registration information.
Assist with coordination of school events, test administration and processing, production and distribution of memos, newsletters, etc.
Answer phone calls, redirecting inquiries if necessary, and relaying messages to key staff.
Assist with year-end close out processes at the end of each academic year.
Actively engaging in creating a strong school culture. Every team member is responsible for helping establish Rooted's culture among students, partners, and the community-at-large.
